Letter written to my Best Friend the day after I had to put her down.
Oh My Dearest Ginger, February 19, 2013 Leaving your precious body at the clinic last night was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I wasn't ready for this. I wasn't ready for you to leave. I know you weren’t ready to leave us either. When we woke yesterday, it was life together as usual; smiles, stretches, kisses and cuddles. There were no clues, no impressions that those would be our last hours together. I know now, no matter how much time we had together, I would always want one more day, one more hour. I know now, I will always want you to come back home. Letter to granddaughter about what her mother, my daughter, was like as a girl. Letter to be given granddaughter when she is a teenager.
Dearest Autumn, It’s probably hard for you to think of your mother as anything but “Mom”. She did, in fact come to me, like you came to her, as a baby. I watched her turn child, turn teenager, turn woman before my eyes. She was, and still is, personality SHAZaaAAaaM from day one. And just like you, her spirit filled whatever space it was in. She came with two speeds and two speeds only, slow drip and full throttle. |
" Baby Boot Camp Manual "
![]() WARNING: Your baby is currently participating in an intensive training program called, “Baby Boot Camp” (BBC). The sole objective of this boot camp is to prepare YOUR child for life with you – “The Parental Unit.” A copy of the program outline was obtained by the PUFFD (Parental Units For Fair Disclosure) during a covert (had to be, BBC wouldn’t play fair) operation.
Excerpt . . . . . . . . . “Siblings” ~ How to amuse yourself with one. ~ How to blame one to save your own behind. ~ How to unite with them to gain the upper-hand. The “Divide and Conquer” technique. ~ WHY you really don’t want them touching you! ~ Their ‘stuff’ really is cooler than yours – how to ‘get in’ and ‘get out’ without getting caught. |
