Practice Piece - Trying To Find My Illustrator's Voice

Wow, poor quality image! It looked clear on my phone, darn. Oh well.  This is a practice piece in process. I'm experimenting with mixed media - watercolor and acrylic. Will touch up with an ink pen when finished. I'm trying to find my illustrator's voice. Hoping to finish this tomorrow.  Will take better pics of this to study when finished, then I'm sending this piece to one of my grand daughters. This particular GD and I had a blast TELLING stories to each other while I was visiting last month. Jack and the Beanstalk and The Three Little Pigs were our favorites.
