We watched the entire first and second seasons in one week - not as hard as you think when you're skipping all the sex and violence. I'm hooked now too. But because I still want the Stark family to be reunited and honor to prevail. She's read the books that are available and assures me neither of those things happens. This particular author is has a reputation for killing off important key characters. Which in her mind is refreshing. Not because sometimes the bad guys win, but because it's more like real life, unpredictable no matter how you try.
