Know what? I love the way Mom loves me. This morning, right after getting up, Mom brought me and Ginger with her out to the patio. It was mid to late morning, not too cool, but not warm yet with a gentle, steady breeze. Mom sat in one side of the two seated lounger out there and just chilled. She and I realized at the same time that we were in the dancing shadows. Then we realized there aren't any shadows in my houses inside. I like shadows. I told Mom so. She said she'd make a point to bring out to sit in shadows as often as she can.
Ginger didn't sit with us, she liked the sunshine. She stretched out in a big square of it and was just happy all over. Sometimes she'd sit up to get a better angle for sniffing the air and for blinking up at the sun. I think she likes sunshine on her face.
We loved being outside with the trees and the sunshine and shadows, the earth smelled so good. The only thing that was irritating was the sound of cars, trucks and motorcycles zooming by on the freeway. Mom doesn't like that, neither do I. She says some day we will live in a home with lots of space around us, lots of trees and grass and flowers and NO car noises or exhaust!!! I can't wait and neither can she. Thanks Mom
